Dear Mr. Jim Morrison,
I am a student at Kellam High School and I attended the National Day on Writing assembly. I enjoyed listening to the advice you had to give us about writing and all of the interesting stories you shared with us. The most useful advice I learned from you was that a good writing day always starts with critical reading at night. I thought it was very critical that you stressed the importance of writing every day, and I think that many students realized how helpful improving their writing skills can be. I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our school and participate in the assembly. I know all of the students that were able to attend learned something new and interesting about the writing process.
